What can I say about Mr Cope. A genuine person who cares about his patients. He listens to you rather than dictate to you. He is open to ideas of improving your condition and surgery would be a last option. He is a credit to his profession and I would highly recommend him. I last saw Mr Cope on the 22March 2019 and he was stuck in heavy traffic on the motorway. On his arrival he saw each and every patient that was waiting for him and apologised as we’ll even though it was not his fault for turning up late. This is the measure of the gentleman. Thank you mr Cole for treating us patients with respect. Hats off to you.

Mr Cope did a wonderful job of my first hip replacement in October 2018. At my follow up he had already recognised that my other hip had deteriorated and made an offer to replace that one too. I had this second operation in January 2019. Mr Cope did a wonderful job of the second hip too. He explained what he was going to do each time and confirmed my understanding. He listened to any concerns I had and talked me through them, putting my mind at ease. I am very impressed that I now have two new hips. I also feel that Mr a Cope is forward thinking. He thought about my quality of life and my age. He is not afraid to veer from the path of traditional thinking in terms of recovery. My hips felt strong and all precautions were lifted at week 6/7. I had the autonomy to understand my own body and work out what it could and couldn't do. I feel my recovery has been quicker due to this faster track method. I would recommend Mar Cope to anyone. In fact my mother is now thinking of asking for him on her referral.

The first time I saw Mr Cope I had a bad knee, after examination he said I would need a full knee replacement. I went into Fulwood Hall hospital. Mr, Cope did the procedure everything went superb from going in to coming out everything was brilliant, from Mr Cope to all his team everything was spot on, they could not have done more for me, nothing was to much trouble for his team. Would definately recommend Mr Cope to anyone. There is nothing that could improve the service I received.

Mr Cope explains problems very clearly and how he can help you. I felt that I could ask any question or any concerns I had regarding my hips . I found him very approachable.

I suffered with severe pain in my left knee for a number of years and was prescribed various gels and painkillers by my GP, which did nothing to alleviate the pain. I decided to seek help privately and was referred to Mr Cope. Straight away it was obvious that he knew what was wrong. Consulting xray images he highlighted the differences between my good knee and the problem one showing considerable wear to the inner side of the left knee. Rather than opt straight away for surgery, he gave me the option of trying cortisone injection treatment. We did this and my knee returned to normal for about two years allowing me to return to my fairly active lifestyle. Unfortunately, further course of treatment did not have the desired effect and surgery to replace the injured part of the knee was inevitable. Throughout the process Mr Cope was supportive and exremely affable in his approach making him really easy to talk to. More importantly he listened and acted straight away on concerns I raised regarding aneasthitics and mobility issues. The operation was a complete success and I was back at work after about four weeks. Scarring is minimal. The aftercare afforded by Mr Cope was equally outstanding. I would highly reccommend Mr Cope to anyone requiring orthopaedic treatment.
